What brought you to work or get interested in the Congress’ fields?

My fascination with logic dates back to the game of Wff ‘n Proof, which my parents bought me for my tenth birthday.
In graduate school, I was attracted to the interplay of logic and the sciences, in general, and computer science, in particular, in such modern fields as artificial intelligence, software verification, and automated reasoning.  As I have gotten older, I have given more and more thought to foundational questions in computer science, including a quest to understand the essential nature of the algorithmic process.

What has your participation to the Congress brought you?

This was a wonderful and well-organized event, bringing together scholars and scientists from a broad range of disciplines, with a shared interest in foundational issues and philosophical inquiries.  I learned much from my many interactions with lecturers and attendees.  And I look forward to pursuing some of these newly-gained connections in the months and years to come.

What is your opinion about your portrait?

The talented photographer must have caught me between smiles.
